1lg Acorn Squash; peeled, seeded, & cut into 2" cubes
1lg Yellow Onion, quartered
2Carrots, cut into 2" pieces
1tart Apple; peeled, seeded, & quartered
1tspground Black Pepper
¼tspSalt
2c.Chicken Broth
3c.Water
2tbspHeavy Cream
¼tspPaprika
¼tspCumin
Sour Cream and/or Goat Cheese Crumblesfor serving

Add first 9 ingredients to crock pot & cook on HIGH for 6 hours. Add remaining ingredients & using an immersion blender or small batches in a blender, blend the contents of the crock pot until smooth & creamy.
